For our ninth anniversary we wanted to assemble the many streams of beer that we have, which make up our barrel program.
It is composed of the three separate “streams” of stout and barleywine recipes that we currently brew, barrel age, and package: internally we call them “house yeast,” “wheat stout” and “barleywine.” They are three distinct recipes that provide us with a flavor palate that is diverse and exciting to blend with.
This beer is a blend of all three streams independently aged in the following barrels: Basil Hayden for 31 months, Willett bourbon for 38 months and Four Roses for 21 months.
It is a decadent melange of stout, barleywine, exceptionally well coopered oak, bourbon and time.
